Extra Beefy Meatloaf

    1 pound lean ground beef
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
    1/4 cup finely diced onion
    1/4 cup steak sauce + 2 tablespoons for topping
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preheat oven to 350°F.
    
In a large bowl, combine the egg, breadcrumbs, onion, 1/4 cup steak sauce, salt, and pepper. Add the ground beef and fold ingredients until well combined. Hands work best for this mixing job!

Form the mixture into a glass baking dish in an even layer.  Don't use a loaf pan.  There's nowhere for the fat to go. Spread remaining 2 tablespoons steak sauce on top. Bake for 40-45 minutes until meat is cooked through and allow to rest 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with green bean casserole and mashed potatoes for a great comfort food meal!
